It’s Alix Earle’s World, and We Are Just Living In It

Alix Earle is a Tik Tok phenomenon who gained her fame in the fall of 2022. She consistently posted on Tik Tok about topics ranging from her acne journey to story times of her nights out at the University of Miami. Users on Tik Tok loved the realness and authenticity Alix Earle was providing to the platform. Since then she has gained 6.4 million followers and 782.2 million likes on Tik Tok. Earle now creates content on all platforms and since then has become the new “It Girl” of social media.

Building Her Empire

Alix Earle has built quite the empire for herself. From joining a network and starting her own podcast to just launching her own merchandise, her fanbase has supported her through everything. 

She has created herself a wide digital footprint for starting as a micro-influencer. Micro-influencers have become very popular recently as more and more people are finding their space on social media to voice their opinions and show what they are passionate about. This is exactly what Alix did. She stuck to what she was passionate about and her viewers loved it.

Since having her big break on social media and graduating from the University of Miami, Alix Earle has a scholarship at University of Miami where she is able to help three aspiring students in the marketing major. This is just one example of what Alix has done with her platform and how she is helping out other people in the same role she was in when she was just starting out.

Authenticity

Alix Earle is very particular when choosing the brands she wants to collaborate with and be sponsored by. She commits to transparency and integrity when carefully selecting the brands she thinks will benefit her followers while staying aligned with her values. Alix ensures her recommendations are honest and backed by personal experience.

Alix Earle has been nonetheless authentic and true to herself. Whether that is her showing her followers the lowest of her lows to telling stories that don’t paint herself in the best light, she will always remain herself. This is what her followers love. Social media has been so washed with fake influencers and people doing what is trendy and it is a breath of fresh air to see how authentic Alix is. Even if she overshares sometimes or is too true to herself, she knows what works for her brand and her followers love it.

  4. Hi Emily! I really enjoyed your post and learning more about Alix Earle. It is crazy that she was just a regular college student that blew up on TikTok. But what made her stand out was that she was real and was very personable to her audience. I feel like she does a great job in creating a space for her followers to be themselves and not in a toxic media cycle that some influencers bring on.
