Releasing his album Harry’s House just days ago, Harry Styles dominates the charts as the fastest-selling record of 2022. Not only has he surpassed his past albums in terms of sales, but all thirteen songs are featured in the top 20 songs across all platforms. The studio album is funk-pop-inspired and includes 13 songs with no features. You can listen to the album on all listening platforms including Spotify.
Harry Styles, British Pop Sensation, began his rise to fame in 2010 in the band One Direction. Simon Cowell formed one Direction on the popular singing competition show, The X Factor. One Direction went on to win multiple awards including Brit Global Success, People’s Choice Favorite Album, Billboard Music Top Group, and many more. After the announcement of their hiatus in 2015, the five band members went on to create their own music as solo artists. Over the past seven years, Harry Styles has become the most successful One Direction member after three albums, two world tours, and two film roles.
Harry Styles is well known for his fashion choices despite his songwriting talent. Styles celebrates his femininity through dabbling with androgyny and self-expression, drawing inspiration from 60s and 70s rockstars such as Prince, Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie. During his first tour, Live on Tour, Styles wore a series of custom Gucci suits with sheer white button-up tops underneath. For his second tour, Love on Tour, Styles surprised his fans with custom trousers, button-ups, suspenders, and boots, each unique for the singular show. Styles’ newest tour is called Harry Styles: One Night Only, in which Harry performs his newest discography for one night in big cities like New York City, Los Angeles, and Austin. So far on this tour, Harry Styles has worn a tight patterned tee, a low-waisted trouser, and an Adidas sneaker.
The long-awaited album was released on May 20, 2022, after months of teasing on Twitter and his website YouAreHome.co. YouAreHome.co is a website that leads users to an image of a door. When you hover your mouse over the door, it opens slightly to reveal a glimpse at a pattern hidden inside. The patterns were released on Twitter to be zoomed in images presumed to be photos Harry took himself. The lead-up to the release created a worldwide wave as his fanbase has grown increasingly over the past five days.
With his unique fashion and his ability to connect to his audience through songwriting, Harry Styles has created a fandom worldwide that endlessly supports him. Despite being released for five days, Harry’s House has topped the charts and dominated popular apps like TikTok and Youtube. Whether he continues to make music or not, Harry Styles has created a name for himself that will live on forever.

I think people around our age have really gotten to watch Harry Styles grow as an artist. He has always been loved for his music, personality, and looks. It is really great to see him maintain such a good character and continue to make popular music as a solo artist. I have also watched some interviews where he talks a lot about mental health. He shares a lot of love through his music and is also a great role model.
I really enjoyed this article not only because of my love for Harry Styles, but I also agree with what you say about his music and fashion style. I including thousands around the world was obsessed with One Direction and all the craze about them. Harry always stood out with his sense of style as well as raspy voice, which has continued to today. I love Harry Styles for several reasons, but I really love how genuine he is in himself. His music feels real and from the heart. He has said that he only wants to make music he likes, not what will hit top charts which I think makes him stand out from others.
I too loved One Direction and Harry Styles from a young age, and loved reading your interpretation of his career and why he became a household name so quickly. His style, creativity, songwriting, looks, and genuine connection and love for his fans makes it hard not to be a supporter.

I loved reading your article as I am a Harry fan myself, but who isn’t lol? Which was exactly the point you made in the article. Harry has taken over social media and since he was known from One Direction, he has fans from a large audience. Boy bands are some of social media favorite things, and Harry has created such a well-known brand for himself. He is known for having unique and fun fashion and brings smiles to peoples faces when he sings. I really do believe he has done so well in his career and social media definitely has a large part in that.
I absolutely love Harry Styles so when I saw your blog I had to read it. It’s so crazy to me that with his new album just recently coming out he could have all 13 of the songs featured on the top 20 songs across all platforms. I enjoyed that there weren’t any features because the album was still so successful with just him being the only artist on all the songs. I feel as though a lot of the time when an artist drops an album a lot of people only listen to songs that have specific features on them.
